I was reading an article in Alpinist last night about a climber named Hans Johnstone. One comment in the article caught my attention:
For Hans, every day is successful; if he fails at something, he’ll apply the lessons of the day to his next adventure.
So much of life is a matter of perspective, and it’s so easy to lose the right perspective in the daily grind. You can’t control everything that happens to you, but you can control how you react to everything.
