The Horns never make winning look easy, but this is ridiculous! Going into the 4th quarter against Oklahoma State, we needed 4 unanswered scores (including 3 TD’s) to pull off the win. And we did it.
Jamaal Charles had another strong game, but the go-ahead score was made by our kicker, Ryan Bailey, who hit a 40 yard field goal with 2 seconds left. This type of situation is what kickers live for.
Here’s the problem with UT football: We’ll will win 10 or 11 games this year — something some schools would love to achieve, yet many fans are unhappy with the program — specifically the coaching. It’s not that we expect to win every game (ok, maybe that’s part of it), but we do expect a smart gameplan and solid fundamentals. The fact that we tend to dig a hole in the first half of each game suggests that we get neither of those things from our coaching staff.
